Our Annual Productions
As a member of our Society you have the opportunity to perform in our annual production as well as various concerts and recitals throughout the rest of the TOPS year.
Our annual production takes place in March and is either a fully-costumed musical or operetta. The show runs for four evenings from Wednesday to Saturday and includes one matinee performance on the Saturday.
Dedication is of the upmost importance when considering becoming a member. In order to participate in our shows you must be available for some Sunday rehearsals nearer to the performance date, and during show week for a technical rehearsal, dress rehearsal and of course every evening (and Saturday afternoon) of the production.
Our concerts and recitals are interspersed throughout the rest of the year, with our main Birthday Concert taking place on a Saturday evening, usually during July. This often includes songs from well-known productions and other material chosen by the Committee. It is this show which is also performed in Wickford in aid of our nominated charity, St. Luke's Hospice.
